Couple of questions on drinkers...

Where do you put them... Edge of field? Middle of field? On track?

Someone pointed out to me that in NZ, round concrete drinking troughs are used, but here we only have rectangular. Anyone in UK got circular?

We had concrete round ones years ago from a south Wales company, haven't really stood the test of time. Walls thinner than todays ones and most developed cracks over time.

Agree to keep them away from tracks.

Putting in troughs at the moment, small fields share a trough(3-4 acres), which the cows can get around as it’s at a joining point , large fields, in field, but accessible depending on break fence.
Granant concrete make round troughs, are very high quality and keenly priced. Moore concrete also look good, but are seriously more money.
