Is there a method to stop parents driving through electric fence wires 🤬
Dad had a few seconds whilst the forager changed farms and he scraped up for me (very helpful and said thankyou) but has driven through an electric wire that goes across the yard AGAIN 🤣

Drives me feckin crazy, he's the only bugger that does it, any tips to help the elderly see it better before I kill him? 🤣
Easy, two wires, one at head height, he’ll only do it once! :ROFLMAO:

Hes parentage testing them! How much more confidence could he give them?!

He could actually know what bull he's putting to what cow in the first place!

The way he's going on, him selling pedigree stock will be like reruns of the Jeremy Kylie show.

Not exactly planned breeding is it?

give the lad a chance, he's taken on a big challenge, and we all make mistakes, the difference is, he admits them, and hopefully learns from them.

pity that black and white limmy, wasn't a bull calf, might have offered £100 for it.........
having said that, we have a really funnily marked limmy, in the rearing shed, son bought it, l do not buy limmy's, unless really really, in the bargain basement bracket.

Whatever the planned breeding is, he's not lying about anything. He has the proof. Lying about it would be way worse.

I’d much rather buy off someone who admits mistakes can be made but actually has DNA proof of what he’s claiming than some of the unscrupulous breeders deliberately passing an animal off as something that its not just because it’s worth more.

Genomic test with holstein UK for £23 will give you lots of data. There are other companies that just do parentage but are a lot more expensive. You put down the sire and if not correct they will tell you the actual sire. They say on average 15% parentage error (wrong straw wrong cow or muliple cows calving and calves getting mixed up. We have done every calf since 2014. Other conpanies also do it think NMR a quiet good.
