Save their number as something rude on your phone then you know not to pick up. Or just block it.
That's now phone calls 3 and 4 this morning

Thats worse because then they visit 💀

What's the legality of charging an hourly rate?

If I stick a sign up at the end of the lane saying "reps welcome - hourly rate of £100/hour minimum charge of £50"
to be fair, reps earn their money, by selling 'stuff', which means cold calling on farmers, they have to.
But they should quickly, if you want them, or not. Worst one we ever had, was a tithe barn min rep, even dad couldn't shift him, and he never got a order.

The Tithe barn min sups is the only rep that cold calls here. He's quite a nice guy but he's only ever had one order from me.

Got heifer that keeps climbing in our feed trailers (we use them for Summer buffer and Winter feed), anyone got any tips to train her out of it?

I would like to avoid welding bars around every trailer...

no, a sledge hammer.
as a very young lad, l was put in a doorway, to stop cattle going through, all went well, until a bull, exited his pen, unexpectedly, right opposite me, 15ft away, the cowman picked up a wooden stake, and threw it at the bull, to take its 'eyes' off me. No idea where it hit the bull, on the head, but it poleaxed him, went down like a bag of #####. Obviously created some agitated discussion, bull stood up, shook his head, turned around, and walked straight back, into his pen, quite a relief.
