Allflex Group alternative?

I am less than happy with the dreadful "new" Allflex site and the way they dominate the tag industry... Their Cattle metal tags and pliers are shite which added to the annoyance...

Any good alternatives for Cattle and sheep tags?

I was the same, looked into it and as far as im aware, the only other tag maker who sells in the UK are Caisley - stronger plastic. I think Dalton and Nordic Star tags are the same make also. Im open to be told differently however!

Nordic Star are now Caisley tags, our last 2 batches were

Are they shiney plastic coated alloy? If so, they will be cheap chinese crap and will break at random times!!

Shearwell are part of the Allflex group now I believe? But happy to be proved incorrect!

I sent a comment to the feedback section and told them what I thought of the crap site... maybe it won't help, but I felt better!
