Have 2 set of alliance tyres on tractors. 1000 hours over 3 years on set of alliance on a diet feeder tractor, it’s mostly round yard. Tractor also does some of baling, topping and tedding. Very happy with them. 80% still on them. Other tractor only has its tyres on last year, 150 hours on its alliance agri star 2’s. The new series tyre. Early days but Im very impressed with them so far. Have a set of Bridgestones on 6930 wouldn’t be impressed with them at all. Causes tractor to wobble at slow speed due to not enough of lugs and grip wouldn’t be as good as previous Michelin’s

It's the agristar 2 that I get told is the one to go for by dealers.

I have a lot of alliance tyres.
405/70-20 (323) on a 5 tons loader
500/60-22.5 (331) on a 7 tons loader
28L26 (330 hd) on a nh bb980 4x4 baler
600/55r26.5 (390) on a 18 ton trailer
460/85r38 (farm pro) on a tractor
600/70r30 and 650/85r38 (agristar 2) on a tractor.
I never had a problem with any of them. And most are loaded well compared to spec. So not all are bad. I would buy them again.
They are about 70% of vredesteins and 45% of Michelins price for tractor and trailer tyres when i ask.

Michelin’s arnt trouble free either. They produced a front Tyre that wore out in less then 1000 hours recently. Rather then give you new set, they made you buy 1 and they give you 1 free.
put 3 sets of Michelin’s on my telehandler over a 10 year period , first 2 sets done 2500hrs each, last ones didn’t do 1500 hrs. Made them softer to wear out faster. All manufacturers are at this. Not in their interest to supply you tyres that last. In 1999 I bought a 2850 with new set of Firestones on it. Them Firestones done 11k hours and I sold them with 30% still on them. Don’t make them like that anymore

Firestone on an old maxxum here and they are seriously hard wearing but starting to show some cracking,no leaks yet though. Contractor doing mostly roadwork had Firestones down to canvas in 1000 hrs. It's all a bit hit and miss

We have had Michelin which not just made it to 4000 hours, but have cheaper BKT that have done over 7000 hours and loads of life still.

But wait there's more:

My small loader tractor has 24" Alliance Power Drive tyres on the front, they must be at least 3000 hours or 10 years old and are still in reasonable shape.

Had you to plate the centre where the studs go through? Mine broke out one time
Yep, fortunately I caught it before it completely broke. Previous owner had already welded it, I tried welding it, in the end the plate sorted the problem properly. The other side is fine though? Must've had a new rim centre at some stage.

It was my left one as well, never any trouble with the right. I put wee bits of flat iron out between the stud holes as well when I was at it
