I am considering buying a sheep yard at the min. I like the look of the new alligator pro but I haven’t seen one in the flesh. I would like to see one set up, unfortunately I don’t know of anyone in Ireland that stocks the alligator yards. The YouTube video looks good

Sorry @AI R I haven’t got any further with this one yet. I contacted Rappa and they told me it would be 2019 before they would have anything available so if new alligator is available that might help their sales. I will most likely go down the second hand route as I haven’t got the numbers to justify a new yard.

Ive sent rappa numerous emails in the last few weeks regarding buying extra hurdles for my set up, aint had a reply which is no surprise to me, as they are rubbish to deal with. And Prattely havent got any hurdles until spring next year. Hopfully Alligator setup might be the better option for you ?

I’m also interested in the new Alligator Pro setup and would appreciate any input anyone can give.

However, it’s not cheaper than a comparable rappa setup, and with a rappa you know the quality? Which surprises me, I’ve always had a good experience dealing with rappa but I do know that they are flat out/sold out at present.

Yes tbh rappa didn’t seem overly interested in getting my business. I felt as if they didn’t really care if I made a purchase or not.

Give Marcus Bullock a ring at livestock management systems, he is very helpful and usually has plenty of hurdles in stock. I replace 4 prattley hurdles a year with rappa ones. Then I retire the old worn ones to the permanent system.
