apologies if i am teaching egg sucking

at the end of milking we press start then stop two seconds later on each unit to sweep the milk out of the lines , not a big job but a job none the less
by accident i pressed the
acdn4.iconfinder.com_data_icons_mayssam_512_refresh_128.png
button before sweeping the lines yesterday , and voila all the units cleared their milk instantly , i then pressed f81 to release the acrs and carried on as usual

made my day anyway

oh and i have deliberately turned automatic milk sweep off for during milking

I suppose if you think about it, it opens all the acr shut off up so makes sense, now you need to measure the amount of milk you get out to see if it's worth it?

still need to press f81 to release acrs or else when half the units are clipped in the jetters and the vacuum raises again the cords go tight and pull them up

My computer has stopped communicating with the processor. It tries to communicate shown by the lights on the usb-serial cable flashing but gets no response.

Anybody suffered from this?

I've ordered another cable but I am hoping it's not the processor. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of Alpro Sync even if it's a trial just to test the new cable on another laptop without having to call Delaval out?

I don't want to mess with the current system. If it connects with the new cable/laptop, then I can diagnose the other system.

You can also get touchscreen now in the delaval parlours. Seen it in Holland recently. Great job as you can record data straight onto the system and not have to keep a wipe board in the parlour. In Holland delaval also have a speaker system like the dairy master setup to alert the operator of mastitis cows etc as they enter the parlour.

Thinking of upgrading to delpro myself and leaving the system ready for body condition score scanner etc.

Does anybody know is there an f function to lower all acrs at one time on a side? Would be handy to lower the clusters for a quick hose down every few rows in the parlour

F80 releases the all the ACR's on one side.

Could also active the back flush on the processor. This releases the ACR after each cow is finished, ACR remains lowered until the front gate is opened.

I have an f15 meter playing silly buggers
Sometimes it doesn't record at all meaning the acr will pull off after the delay and sometimes it just keeps recording at 3.3 flow rate so acr doesn't pull off.
Tried turning the transformer on and off but doesn't help
Anyone know how to reset them from the Mpc maybe?

There was a offer on Delpro 12 months ago, think the upgrade was around £1000 mark if you had alpro Windows. It was going the cost me £3k because I only run the black processor.

£3k? Are you taking the mick?

So the old processor has to be upgraded to the new wall bolted one to be able to use Delpro?

I only upgraded the hardware in my processor 2 years ago costing £1300 to get front feeder readers to work and was told the hardware upgrade was identical to the new box.

I still haven't got the connection between my box and laptop sorted. Can't get delaval locals out to sort it and what's worse is non of them are IT skilled which I am so if they did come out, I have to do everything while they watch but take the flash drive with alpro Windows on it home with them. Don't understand why I paid over £650 for alpro and get no software or user manual on disk.

I know a guy who got a new parlour less than a year ago with the new processor and Delpro installed and he has no disk with the software. Apparently they installed Delpro on his computer as an out farm which means one License can be installed on multiple computers hence why they gave him no software even though he paid for it.

I wish Delaval would pull their finger out and have a customer web portal on their website so you can download software and other tools or have a support forum for problems or other queries.
