Not sure who wrote the just giving page, but it starts out "my mum's amazing boyfriend .......... " and ends "our 3 and 1/2 year old daughter ...."
The dates don't make sense either the just giving page says "diagnosed in November 2016" but he started the "Illness" thread in September 2018, saying he'd been ill for a couple of months, he followed up with the "terminal diagnosis in October 2018 with life expectancy of 12 to 18 months. With the illness he described and the type of brain tumours being particularly nasty, if it was true I very much doubt he would still be here anyway. Unless the immunotherapy achieved miracles. Very sad if it was all made up, but as others have said that is an illness itself, having had lots of cancer treatment, it's not something you'd wish on anyone, never mind yourself

And indeed the "mum's amazing boyfriend" part is from August 2017, yet Rachel's facebook page states they've been married since 15 July 2016

What about his dairy farm? Working for Norton motorbike s, a qualified agri engineer? Keep up the investigation, cos I draw blaks on all that. Norton went into receivership in Jan /Feb! No one knows of his farm in Carmarthenshire, where was he a mechanic?

No, I'm done with digging. Someone local must know more, but it's not for me to ask.

I agree re the photos, however, did that news article not state the step daughter set up a just giving page stating 'they were told he had months to live'... plus they are on the just giving page created.

If this ends up true (which is looking ever more likely I am saddened to say) - the whole thing should be reported appropriately.
Get real! He's a con, quite happy to use that photo with his girl to extract money from the gulable public . If that's the best photo of him, that we help to circulate. Then it might just stop someone else being conned.
Only achieved 6‰ of his target I guess not many were taken in

So am I, I failed to stop him in time, and he's caused a lot of grief and expense, more will be revealed, that I know. Just a lesson for people, not to let any untrained, idiot mess around with expensive complicated equipment.

Thankfully he was caught out, trying to sell his ex employer’s machinary as his own. Wasn’t the first time by all accounts.

its amazing what a bit of research on the internet can find, google maps is excellent tool to begin the search.

Are we talking about the same person? Who was selling his bosses machinery?

reminds me of the only fools and horse sketch.... Rodney and Mickey Pearce were going to go down to the country and sell tractors and combine harvesters to the carrot crunchers.... Turns out they were broken lawn mower engines..... this time next year we will be millionaires!

Yes Del Boy arranged for a friend to buy them all, so as to give Rodney some confidence. The friend went straight to the scrap yard to get rid of the old lawn mower engines, where Rodney proceeded to buy them all back... 'because they can't get enough of these down at the depot' :ROFLMAO:
