We're on wilson mattresses with the yellow, fairly grippy cover. Envirobed type products create a paste that's difficult to remove. What are people using on these tyres of mattresses to make the job easier?

Silica sand, just put the latex/foam inserts in as a retrofit.

We have slatted channels a lagoon so sand not ideal.

We have Teemore mattresses which are probably similar! Have been on oat husk for years! Not as absorbent as some products though! (But not pasty) We are going onto hamermilled straw now! Trials seemed to be more absorbing! Just a sprinkling a day to keep them clean! Not needed for comfort as the mattress should do that!
