Iam on doing some jobs on a amazone adp super drill for some one. Theres a few of the rubber boots that connect the seed tube to the coulter, split, so ive got some, but cannot get them to fit anywhere near. Ive boiled them, warmed them in a oven, greased them and still no where near. Theres only one part number for them so there cant be a bigger one. Any tips or advice anyone has to get them on would be appreciated.
TIA.

Flat blade Screwdrivers, 2-3 of them but make sure their not sharp or they go through the side, I really don’t miss replacing them, hands always used to get stabbed either by screwdrivers or slip and cut on a coulter 🤬

Update..... 1 knackered kettle, 3rd degree burns on both hands, but ive bossed em. Boil a couple of times then pull them over with 2 pairs of pliers. Seem to have gone back to normal fine.

They’re almost impossible to fit, but the spreading spider leg tool for fitting cv joint boots to cars works well.

Surprisingly I’ve never had issues.i take the funnel part out of coulter and as mentioned above stick the wider flexible upper part in a kettle to soften it then pretty much fit by hand and if it cools too fast probably a screw driver for a bit of assistance.normally replace 6/7 a year because upper tubes wear where they telescopein and out.you can buy the upper and lower part complete aswell.
