Evening all.
Having a bit of trouble getting our amazone spreader to talk to the greenstar 2630 screen.

The jd dealer says the amazone needs an update to receive the information via serial connection. Trying to spread variable rate files via the jd screen.

The amazone dealer say it's all updated!
How can we see whether we've got the latest software??

If the amatron box has been updated recently the baud rate will have defaulted to 57600, JD Greenstar will only transmit at 19200. Go into the setup menu either from the screen shown above or from the main work screen by simultaneously pressing the soft key at the rear of the RHS of the box and the "pages" button on the front. Once in the setup menu look for the baud rate, change to 19200 if it isn't.

Interesting, is that really a new setting on the Amatron+ screen? The latest Amatron+ manual I could find was from 2012 and it did not have the baud rate selection option explained. Amatron3 screens have it.

I wish Amazone responded to my query and provided the SW update files as discussed on another thread here.
