Amazone Avant Start On Linkage Lower

Our Amazone Avant drill does not start metering with the lowering of the rear linkage.

It is paired with the Amatron 3 controller, on a Fendt 822. The supplemental green drill attached to the machine performs in this aspect as expected and starts/stops on linkage raising/lowering.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Is anyone aware of a solution that does not involve installing a dedicated linkage position sensor for the Amatron?

Thanks in advance!

Mine has metering wheel on front box. It starts metering as soon as the control box senses impulses from metering wheel.

The metering wheels on a ram. Just lift it up to stop it metering seed.

Can see it clearly in picture.

That was how our older gear was set up, however it is no longer offered. Tractor speed is relayed to the amatron 3 via a canbus connection, linkage position appears to be also as the greendrill is aware and engages metering when the rear linkage is lowered.

We’re just at a loss as to why something purchased for 1/10th of the price is capable of such a basic setting it isn’t
