Amazone drill

I have a new to me amazone adp 402 profi air drill, am trying to calibrate to get barley drilled at 300kg/ha
This is an old drill so hopefully someone on here maybe able to help, it has the old style green gearbox on so you remove the plate and turn the bottom cog around to switch between fast and slow. The most I can get out of a calibration test is 6.3kg at 17 turns that equals 1/40 of a ha so times my 6.3 gives me 252kg/ha, I have checked that the gear box is on the fast cog and the above rate is with the slide as far as it can go even past the 100 setting.
many ideas?
Thanks

Does the calibration trays have a pile of writing in them in pen?
I had 1 at the last farm I worked and it wouldn’t go over 235kg/ha on spring wheat. Never had an issue with other crops

Have you got the individual spout slides all the way up, there’s shut, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full open - their white slides against the tank that you pull up and push down

there is one way bearings in gearbox at bottom below your gears . they can slip when worn . that can be why less can come out as well even opened up on scale .mib its something else

probably from an amazone dealer in there parts books. can take bit of time to do it. if your unsure about it dont sow with it as seed rate will be all over place . hense why your getting low seed rate when it is opened right up .

Are you talking about the gearbox ,with the fingers that work on a cam ,
Got a gearbox like that on minimat press drill ,and another drill what we got off a forum member runs on that type of gearbox ,
@ploughman Take the nut or stud out of top and have a look in ,and when you turn it over ,you will see the fingers working over the cams , just going to look for a book on it and see if it has a parts diagram ,

Have you made sure the thumb screws are tight, the metering wheels can slip on the shaft if not, a quick tweet with the pliers doesn’t hurt to make sure.
