I understand that the Amazone KG power harrows have the option of reversing the tines so that it pulls itself into the ground and mixes trash better. I was wondering if anyone has experience of how it would work in osr stubble or even wheat stubble.

Had a demo last year straight into wheat stubble, tried it at lowest rotor speed and got up to 15kmh,I thought it did a great job of producing a fine, firm seedbed about 30-40mm deep, ideal for chitting grassweeds and volunteers. At this rotor speed and forward speed there was a lot of unworked ground if you scraped away the service,I do not see this as a issue if you are using it to produce a stale seedbed, distribute trash and level the service and reduce slug pressure.I feel it does more than a straw rake and wont block but does not need to go as deep as a cultivator and will leave it more level than a Carrier type implement.I would love a six metre trailed one with a double DD press on the back I think this would be the ultimate stale seedbed tool.It needs to be used as a cultivator with the tines "on grip" with the rotors only going fast enough to pull any trash through. It would do the job with the rotors stationary so you only have to have the turning so the trash goes through,if used in this way I don't think wear rates would be to bad, unfortunately poor potato prices meant we could not afford won last year.
