ambic teat sprayers

ive an ambic teat sprayer system in the palour,4 ambic sprayers. they are not the cheapest but they keep sticking on and have to bo hit against a steel rail so them turn off ,this happens very often, any solutions other than buying 4 more which will probably stick on too

my last ambic was in 25 years, never stopped ,new one breaks down all the time

Got a newer one with a parlour I bought, yes it broke, gone back to the old early 80s model, never been touched.(y)

:banghead::banghead:We had bother with our Ambic sprayer after years and years of use. Dairyman took pump to bits, had to glue it back together. Still same problem of pressure dropping after a couple of cows.
Bought new pump , £125 PLUS VAT. No improvement

Ordered new filter kit , came with new oneway valve.
No better.

Eventually our Mr Fixit found that the big metal air intake tube on the parlour venting fan, had been sitting on the supply tube and almost pinched it shut.
2" section removed and good as new.

The same is true of the Low Heat water sprayers. Older ones with the name marked on them were good. New ones are rubbish and leak after a short time. The price for rubbish is ridiculous at about £11 each.
