What is it ! any good ?
Sorry appear to have missed this thread!
Under the AminoA brand we have a number of products suitable for conventional and organic farmers, but the principle of all of them is the same, they contain a broad spectrum of l-isomer amino-acids that plants have to synthesise for growth. Because the plant has to synthesise these throughout its life cycle applying the appropriate amino-acid/s at any stage of growth can have an influence at that growth stage. so if you apply at the rooting stage you can influence more rooting, if at flowering more flowers etc. We have results in many crops all over the world please send us an email if you would like some summaries. It's a pain in the ar*e marketing email that keeps getting around my spam filter!

The product? Fudge knows! One of the founders is a member in here. Their website is long on talk and short on actual results. The word "claimed" appears regularly. http://www.aminoa.co.uk/

If you would like results send me an email [email protected]
But to give you an idea this photo was taken a couple of weeks ago on some late DD OSR in Cambs. No N has been applied to the field but the farmer had some AminoA FLO left in the tank and made another pass on the headland. ( AminoA FLO contains 45 grams N litre so the max amount of N applied would have been 225 grams ha from a double dose).

No it never was. Our animal derived amino -acid products are produced from human food grade animal protein and there are no safety or health issues with using them. If you apply one of these products to a lettuce there is no animal residue as the plant does not distingush the source of the amino-acids but only if they are in a form that it can use to perform cell division! There is more animal residue in a glass of red wine than in a plant treated with our products! But for those with ethical/vegan concerns we have products based on synthetics or vegetal material.

You say that, but a lot of millers have banned the product from use of wheat entering the human food chain. There are obviously concerns around its use from end users.

You will find that we have several products in our portfolio only the products that are animal derived are of any concern and this is only on ‘ethical’ grounds. There are no concerns about safety and there are no residues. The argument is the same as beef tallow in five pound notes which the BOE have chosen to ignore as there is still beef tallow in the new ten pound notes! Please check your facts.

But what use is it to us if millers have banned it?
