Retired from farming now, but was always suspicious of snake oil products.
Whether they do any good or not the supplier will have made his margin.
Oh another thing, was always suspicious of crop trials of any kind carried out by chemical, fert , seed companies etc, after Bayer had some trial plots on our farm but trashed them as they did not establish very well:banghead:
Great if we didn’t have to average our crop yields over the whole field, but only the good parts:rolleyes:
Sadly I think that is just what some farmers do do, but they are only kidding themselves.:cautious::cautious:
Amazes me with such slim margins how so many farmers are still taken in with muck and magic so say plant feeds.
Have your soils and crop foliage independently analysed to see what they are lacking in and then make a decision accordingly.
One product that in my opinion contains ingredient “x” is Farmyard Manure (FYM),
but we all know that.
