Dido Harding is hoping to become boss of the NHS
After the fine job she did in Test and Trace and before that Talk Talk.

But she does have prime qualifications, a friend of Boris and Carrie 😂😂😂
Don’t forget the TalkTalk security breach before that and the ditching of non profitable rural broadband customers like myself to Fleur Telecom and then the £50 pa charge to allow me to continue using my TalkTalk email address. These people are nothing but swindlers in my view with not an ounce of public service in them whatsoever.

Enjoy,

One titbit to add. I quote from Wikipedia: Penrose sits on the advisory board of think tank ‘1828’, which ‘calls for the NHS to be replaced by an insurance system and for Public Health England to be scrapped’
Right, so her husband is agitating for an end to the NHS and she wants the top job there? Am I getting that correct?

So as an Expat, who has the best system?
France.
It has carried on normal service all through the pandemic. BC (Before Covid) the waiting list for hip replacement was 6 weeks. Cancer treatment is nothing to do with your postcode etc. GPs all carried on seeing patients.
Top up insurance costs a fair bit and cotisations are steep. However it works well and I have had 1st class treatment.
I'd rather pay for this than NHS. which needs to cut out the waste.

I feel terrible about criticising the NHS because many staff have made terrific sacrifices but the core is as rotten as a bad apple. Nurses in GP practices have carried the can while the doctors remain invisible. I have seen my doctor twice in twelve years and the last time was when he stuck a needle in my arm for jab 2. With respect to an ongoing issue I got a phone call after a four week wait but perhaps he did not get extra money for that.
