I’ve always wondered about those rubber dampers on drawbars but never thought that this would be the issue with them.

Luckily the pipes from the pump to the tank held and stopped it going right over.

Unfortunately it ripped the water trap from its mounting leaving a big hole in the side. Body is ratchet strapped down for now.

Tack a hefty strap on, till its wet again or even a chain if your not doing much road work ..........

Were u spreading up a steep hill when that happened.have one of those majar tanks often felt going up hills wit a half load the drawbar would rise

You would have thought a bolt would have run through the rubber on that

Guess they didn’t expect people to go up steep hills. Tankers with dribble bars or trailing shoe must be at high risk I would have thought. Wants a check chain to limit movement. Hindsight is wonderful though.

It's funny how nothing breaks when it's sitting doing nothing. Got started ploughing again today and bottom pin broke for turnover ram.

I'm pretty sure the 2600g one I use has a bolt on top of the drawbar that goes through a big washer welded to the front of the tank so this can't happen.

Well one way to get rid of all the sediment out the tanker, beats crawling inside it trying to dig it out.
