How to spend lots more money, borrow more money and create more inflation for no improvement in service
Not if you are a tenant, and aren't showing much profit, surely. And it’s farmers that are right in the crosshairs for more tax to pay for all of this economic illiteracy.
Those in the public sector vote for Labour in order to get looked after.
They’ll have something in the budget for that particular situation I’m sure. There’s no money to start with, tax rises and spending cuts are needed already without them making new promises like these that will cause more problems. The money has to come from somewhere. Not if you are a tenant, and aren't showing much profit, surely.
My partner is a teacher in a secondary school, the highest grade she can get to without becoming assistant or head teacher etc.Are teachers actually poorly paid?
so £44600 a year £22x39 hour x 52 weeks , paid holiday etc many would say not badMy partner is a teacher in a secondary school, the highest grade she can get to without becoming assistant or head teacher etc.

But teachers are leaving and there are now teacher shortages ?
I don’t think that’s just due to money. It’s more the stress of dealing with out of control kids, irresponsible parents and the woke agendaBut teachers are leaving and there are now teacher shortages ?
Discrepancies abound certainly, all the more so when you get wild swings in inflation for inastance. But public sector vs private sector, why are public sector workers any different to those that will end up having to pay them?Given that wages were held at 1% increases for a long time and inflation was at 11% in recent history. A 5.5% rise doesn't seem 'bumper'.
Reminder that the state pension welfare went up by 10.1% last year.
My son has just finished his Gcse , the standard of teaching is appalling. Some of them sitting at computer doing private matters when supposed to be teaching , The CTD teaching was so bad i am going to complain ( engineering, woodwork , design) Some of the teachers are good , many from sending two kids in over the last years , are crapBut teachers are leaving and there are now teacher shortages ?
I can totally understand why teachers might be getting fed up.I don’t think that’s just due to money. It’s more the stress of dealing with out of control kids, irresponsible parents and the woke agenda
