Andrew Neil's 'GB News'

I've no doubt that he has political opinions - who hasn't? - but I can't think of any time he has let them interfere with his work. Party is of no relevance, Tory, Labour, DUP, UUP, SF, SDLP, UKIP / Brexit (as was)
, SNP and others, all of their bods get grilled to the same standard, and quite right too.

I think you are correct.

Andrew is pretty much a good journalist who actually researches his subject - although I hope there will be an online section to his interviews to give some background to his stance.

I sort of welcome the channel as long as it's not used to destroy any fledgling hope of UK political reform. Totally fed up with the failure of Westminster consistently to provide for the people of the UK.

I'm becoming of the mind there are far too many toffs in power .. so at this rate I'll have a second coming as Corbyn Mk II.

I do hope this puts the BBCs nose out of joint enough that they have to reform too.

What, you mean Nigel Farage is in on Isobel Oakeshotte as well? That threesome might be worth watching for some people.
Surely, even you couldn't be against...

She is very pretty, but also very young. Recovering from anxiety and depression i believe.Hope she makes a speedy and full recovery. Her baby will help. Kate MaCann, reporter on Sky News,is another bright young woman, and a very clear and coherent speaker, with looks to match.

This article by Andrew possibly gives some clues as to his views and beliefs on the UK insofar as Leaving the EU was concerned and his views on the future for the UK.

Published in the Daily Mail. A target demographic for his new commercial news venture. Always remember none of these are charitable foundations!!

I look forward to seeing Brillo head as he is quite fun to watch tangling in the bar tap room.

Just noticed this and am rather shocked by your chauvinistic and sexist tone; what have her - or anybody else's - looks got to do with her journalistic ability and integrity? Not very pleasant to bring up her personal problems either... :(

I wouldn't have been surprised if he'd been signed up by RT (the channel with Alex Salmond). It seems to be the only news channel which tries to get at the truth and is not afraid of big corporations including Twitter and other platforms which are trying to manipulate us.

It tells us things which BBC, ITV and Sky wouldn't dare.

I might be naive, but give it try.

A take it you are having a laugh as I doubt you are that naive as to believe anything a Russian government propaganda outlet would tell you. Farage and Salmond should be be investigated as possible traitors of the state for presenting on it

Only when suggested by others watch particular items, but I always have my tinfoil hat at the ready. :D

When I spent some time in a Communist Country, I soon realised that the natives who had minds of their own were switched on when it came to world affairs.

They knew that their news was censored, and had other ways of seeking a truer account. We naively assume our news isn't censored, and tend to believe it.

If her looks have no bearing on anything why did you post her picture ?
Because many people may recognise a name or a face, but not put the two together. (y)

Ooh, touchy! What do you mean, perhaps you think I am focusing solely on the most negative possible interpretation of what you wrote while, at the same time, attempting to portray myself as righteous by an overstatement of offence? Who on Earth could I have picked up such a response-technique from?

I couldn't agree with you more.
I can hardly wait for the GB News channel on tv, aimed at the silent majority! (y)
I hope Piers Morgan is on board.
I will be great to watch this first thing in the morning and in the evening.
The BBC is not going to know what hit them along with ITV and Channel 4 for that matter!:):):)
Just makes me so happy!

Well its started and I have been watching it. They have already been bashing the bbc about its biased reporting, for example 'extinction rebellion' gets headline news in the past for 6 muppets on a bridge managing to close a road.
Rod Liddle is on at 11 telling us why england kneeling before a game should come to an end. (y)

To be fair, regardless of her looks, she has been very vocal on social media about her issues, which is brave of her. I have the upmost respect for her as a journalist. I believe she may have suffered at the hands of another in some way from she has tweeted. Wish her all the best.
