Andrew Neil's 'GB News'

Its definitely slicker and the sound has improved. Not one for rolling news but I'll probably watch it a bit from time to time.

I don't think there's anything wrong with allowing presenters to air their opinions, as long as you have a range of opinions which is where the BBC et al have failed miserably.

It's like a breath of fresh air. And the presenters have shown they have the ability to cope with technical breakdowns which will hopefully be ironed out.

I was wondering if the teething problems are caused by undercover agents from the BBC, who must be regretting axing Andrew Neil from their Politics' programmes.

And would anyone but Andrew Neil have the stature and confidence to call out the SPH (the Stop Funding Hate group) who have coerced companies like IKEA to withdraw their adverts.

I haven't seen much of GBN yet other than on Ytube but remember when Thursday night was something to look forward to? I'm assuming QT is still going with Smuggy McSmugface and not sure what's on after that. Presumably some sort of BAME LGBTQ drama about repression of disabled people. BBC is dead to me now.

It's sad the way Question Time has gone downhill at an alarming rate since Fiona Bruce took over. I hadn't thought about it, but Andrew Neil could have taken over from David Dimbleby. But maybe not!!!!!!

i dont watch the adverts ,who does ?
I had another go at watching it at breakfast time this am and the first thing I saw was that effing Sainsburys advert. Christ, talk about boil your p1ss. I record everything I'm gonna watch precisely so I don't have to watch this sort of garbage. I was watching live though this am and just had to pause it. I'm struggling with the presenters sat round chatting format tbh. Hopefully it will evolve into something a bit more conventional eventually in terms of this.

I think the more worrying thing is that they buy almost as many copies of the Daily Mail and the Sun. :ROFLMAO:

The BBC buys something like 20,000 copies of The Guardian and uses the rag for advertising jobs.

It's a one way door to biased coverage .. will be glad when it ceases to exist.

And guess what .. The Guardian isn't part of the national "Press complaints" body. They adjuducate their own articles .. in other words they print whatever they like and screw the public.

Another dead beat self serving "organisation" .. funded by a Trust I think.
And started originally by someone who made their cash in the slave trade, pity they dont chuck one or two of their " journalists " in the river. Very quick to condemn others who made money that way but happy their founder did

I can see why you guys like this new channel. I looked in to see at lunchtime and the weather forecast had a good dollop of rain for us tonight and tomorrow.
Those miserable sods at the BBC had us with very little chance of any.

Just finished drilling grass seeds now.

As to the channel, I think describing it as a ‘News’ channel might be a stretch from the bit I saw. More a box for shouting opinions that will appeal to readers of the Daily Mail.

Being financed by advertising, I don’t think it will be unbiased, just have a different bias from that you might perceive at the Beeb.

I noticed a lot of companies are not very happy about finding their ads appearing on GB News.

I doubt any of them would have been too concerned until it became an issue. The fact that a small group of left wingers can attempt to undermine a legitimate TV channel is what should be worrying people. If the EDL tried to sabotage the Guardian in that way it would be called all sorts.

Looks like a respected journalist has started on the Kopparberg early this morning.

This is the vile intolerant organisation which has coerced advertisers to withdraw their adverts form GB News. They started their campaign and directed their hate at Andrew Neil and the programme before it even took to the air.

It's sickening when such an evil group can act this way without retribution.

They are all the same lot. BLM, Occupy etc. Lot's of big money behind it. The retribution will be to stop buying products from companies that give in to them.

 unbelieveable! Stop spreading your shite!
No, it's correct.

Nivea, Kopparberg, Grolsch, the Open University, Octopus Energy, Ovo Energy and insurer LV have also pulled their adverts from Andrew Neil's new channel, prompting calls for a boycott of their services for caving in to 'zealots'.

But they have done this. There will be more to follow. They don't like opinions which are not their own.
