Having a quick walk round the fields yesterday with the agronomist, heading back to the truck and we discovered some absolute scum has kindly disposed of two dead lambs in one of the fields, sprayed up with numbers on!!!! To make the whole thing even worse and show the kind of people That are still out there, they were put right on a footpath and literally 5 yards from a style through the hedge from the road [emoji35] they hadn’t been there long,in these times when we are trying to do our best to keep the general public happy as a industry, there are things like this going on

cant see why a farmer would bother to do that, easier to just chuck them under your own hedge for a fox to take if you cant be arsed to get rid of properly, did they have the same number sprayed on ? Perhaps someone had a couple of orphan lambs as pets and they died so chucked them away

I take it you can see what breed they are ?
Pop around the local sheep boys and see if you can find ewes with corresponding numbers with same colour and no lambs

Dad had a problem one year with someone who was helping him with lambing and he was going round feeding and checking the fields and sorting out any problems he found. Or meant to be... he was just flying round not really paying attention to anything just shoving the dead ones in hedges out of sight. I went round a few times instead of him (was easter holidays or something i was still at school) and started finding them they were obviously in the wrong fields away from their mothers and had starved and he had made no effort to try and reunite them he just couldnt be arsed to do it just hid the lambs hoping no one would notice :mad::mad::mad::mad:
This could be something similar id think it unlikely a farmer is dumping his own lambs in someone elses field like that.
Hope you catch the barstewards
