Heard it on radio 4 just now, of course they have got their message across, the presenter said something about meat and milk destroying the environment, so another part of the drip, drip, drip.

I don't know if it makes me angry or just profoundly sad to be honest.

They have nothing better to do than protest!!? Shame they aren’t doing something constructive to help the economy

Good luck to them staying there for 24 hours. Last time we blockaded the Southampton Tesco's warehouse with Farmers For Action we were allowed to stay for a couple of hours then the police moved us on. We were compliant, but as we left we saw about 10 fully occupied riot vans parked up. If we hadn't gone quietly I don't think that it would have been pleasant!

Just another way to pee off the general public I'd imagine. Most think their dickheads already. 50 people. That's a proper minority. Will no doubt be all over the news

I think veganism should be classed as an eating disorder like bulimia. Particularly were people have been suffering from it for more than a year. There is plenty of evidence nowadays that such extreme diets are detrimental both mentally and physically, particularly so in the the young.

Mc Donald's is next to Wynnstay Farmers in Carmarthen, there is always a que of cars for the drive through, what worried me more is the throw away remark on the radio about beef/milk being bad for the environment. Same today on any answers, someone who phoned up said the same (talking about the Oz trade deal), unfortunately there was no one there to explain why it isn't.

I don’t know whether it’s a good thing or bad thing but I’ve never had a Mc Donald’s or KFC. I did do Wimpys though ,but not for the last 40 years.

Veganism is a dangerous amalgam of an eating disorder and a religion. Combining the physical and mental instability that comes with deficient diets the saving grace is that vegans are unlikely to safely successfully breed.

My sister has been turned vegan by her daughter. She keeps telling me about videos she’s seen about animal cruelty. She says baby male chicks are minced alive and male cows are knocked on the head in dairy herds? Is this right? I find it hard to believe?!

you could ask her, about the environmental degradation in California for almond milk replacer, or how many bees are killed pollinating, or the water used to irrigate the almonds. But maybe none of that counts as it's "abroad".
