Animal rights loonies in The Mall today

Next Monday morning, as part of the Jubilee celebrations there should be stocks erected all along the Mall filled with these moronic Eco loonies and let the public teach these self centered arsewipes a lesson.

I wonder why the young seem to hate our country? Is it from the insidious indoctrination from all the left leaning teachers in school and uni?

George Orwell, England Your England

“In intention, at any rate, the English intelligentsia are Europeanized.
They take their cookery from Paris and their opinions from Moscow. In the
general patriotism of the country they form a sort of island of dissident
thought. England is perhaps the only great country whose intellectuals
are ashamed of their own nationality. In left-wing circles it is always
felt that there is something slightly disgraceful in being an Englishman
and that it is a duty to snigger at every English institution, from horse
racing to suet puddings. It is a strange fact, but it is unquestionably
true that almost any English intellectual would feel more ashamed of
standing to attention during ‘God save the King’ than of stealing from a
poor box. All through the critical years many left-wingers were chipping
away at English morale, trying to spread an outlook that was sometimes
squashily pacifist, sometimes violently pro-Russian, but always
anti-British.”

Yes

The Mall isn't a public highway but Crown Estate which is covered by different laws which allows for speedier removals.

You're not wrong. There's an illegal rave going on in north Cornwall, with attendees from all over the UK, including apparently, Scotland. Huge speakers had musak booming out from 10pm last night, and it's still booming out. No local residents have had any sleep, roads are closed and Police are 'negotiating'.

We're about 8 miles away, and can hear it clearly as the crow flies. Sheep, cattle and ponies on the moor must be deaf, traumatised - or worse. And businesses in the area virtually shut down. That includes Dairy Crest / Saputo, the local knackery and several smaller enterprises.

Bloody selfish, and the police shouldn't be 'negotiating' at all. Cut the bloody leccy and clear the buggers out.

The clean up will cost thousands, there are no facilities on site and all drainage is towards the reservoir. Its expected to continue over the weekend.

What?! And deprive them of their human rights? As many of us were taught, with rights come responsibilities.

What should have been enshrined within the European Convention on Human Rights was the responsibility and obligation to treat others as you expect to be treated yourself, and the obligation to be a good neighbour. The organisers of the rave will do all they can to make sure their 'human rights' aren't violated, lots of phone footage and eyewitnesses and champagne socialist lawyers looking for a bit of compo, but ironically the law is set up to maintain their right to behave like arseholes to everyone within a 5 mile radius. You can't offend them, but you daren't say boo to them offending everyone else. In the days when our elected representatives had a spine this sort of public order offence that would have been nipped in the bud in short order.

That happened here about 25yr ago with the New Age travellers. remember travelling up the road past a couple of ladies wearing nothing other than shorts 😳. They were a pest though, stole farm signs, fuel, music blaring right through night, burnt out cars and left a hell of a mess. Moor was quickly classified as a sssi. Seemed the environmentalists carried more clout than the police. 🙄

Police put up manned roadblocks thru summer for 2yrs after the first one happened to keep the crusties away from the moor. We had through roads blocked off with rows of 6high potato boxes as they travelled with an old ex army wrecker in their convoy to remove tree stumps, boulders etc to let their buses in.

That’s an astonishing piece.
Could have been written yesterday- not in 1941. I do sometimes wonder what the angry left ever find joy in?

Any time I have travelled abroad I have returned thinking how lucky we are to live in the U.K. It’s not all luck of course- it’s hard work, good soldiering and making the right decisions over generations. I look back on my family tree of farm labourers, miners and cotton workers which gradually over the centuries became a little more comfortable and give thanks that I live where I do at the time we do.

At it again today at the Derby meeting.
Emily Wankhurst and her friends from Animal Rebellend dragged away by Plod.
In a statement Animal Rebellion called for an end to all horse racing and for a move towards a 'plant-based food system'

Still thumping Muzak mid afternoon, and friends farming in the area have seen half dressed and very ‘dazed’ people wobbling about. Drugs? He fully expects to find a few dead in the ditches when the clear up begins.

Isn't this why police forces receive tax money? And then use some of that money to fund dog sections?

Had exactly the same near us about 3 years ago. 2 rural coppers on duty completely outnumbered, just let it run for 48 hours. Livestock traumatised by fireworks and noise, locals run off the road when the ravers started to disperse, drugged up an drunk. No arrests that I can recall.
