ANIMAX 3 in 1 sheep bolus

What sort of money are these Animax 3-in-1 boluses?
Animax boluses have gone the route of Co, and Se / Iodine as pairs of boluses. Seem to remember being told it's because there was found to be a problem with the old combination bolus, and the cobalt and iodine disagreeing with each other when in the same bolus.

Bolous for the first time a few months ago, always drenched. Must admit was cautious after reading different things. Most went OK but the cheviots where possessed. Just had the odd one cough un up in the yard. As already said easier in the combi clamp. Just lost one, don't know weather it's related or not but lived it's life ambition I guess.

They used to (& one of the reasons I haven't used them), but they've just released a 3-in-1 bolus, so you just give one, and a copper capsule if needed.
Incidentally, 4g copper capsules are a lot cheaper from Mayo, than the Coppinox ones, and have a bit of extra Cobalt in them too. Exactly the same size.
I just bought a pack of 100 and off the top of my head it was £92, so less than £1 per ewe. The picture of the 2 shows the size comparison.

Thanks. So about the same as the Agrimin one, but without the Copper (15-20p for capsule).
They certainly look a handier size though.

Animax rep this morning told me they should be about a pound, so presumably that's the RRP.
think we paid about a pound and 3p

Still havnt had a call back so cant give you my price yet. But looking at the size difference think i will give them a bash.

We used agrimin lamb boluses this year for ewes lambs done at beginning of October Rams went with them on the 17th of November and come away from them on 9th of December. Out of 340 only 20 not in lamb one lot scanned 141% the other 137%. They are looking great. We would normally have anything from 40 to 80 empty so well chuffed with result.
