Anybody know of any early post emergence herbicides for annual meadow grass in spring barley.
Was too dry for pre- emergence at drilling, to use usual Herold pre- em. then rained since night we finished drilling, now crops just emerging .

I used Tower last year. It scorched a bit on the overlaps but grew out of it.

Is ipu still available. Used to use it with dff. Was good on annual meadow grass and pansy. Hard on barley but it out grew it.

Not anymore. CTU has gone as well but came back in a very limited fashion. Both products worked well.

To be honest a bit if Picona or similar is the best option in my view. I would never worry about the conditions being too dry for these kinds of products. They linger around for ages.

Picona won’t do anything for AMG already emerged though?

Sure glad black grass and amg aren’t here in Canada. Apart from couch which is easy to control with roundup ready beans, foxtail barley is the only difficult one to deal with.
