Im sure ive got a few spare new ones in the garage. You can have one for whatever it cost me.

One thing to note- From that black broken wire, follow the short length of cabling to the plastic plug. Check that there are no rubbed/ bare wires on the tractor loom side of that plug.

To deal with lift arm errors, that black plastic 3 pin plug/socket usually gets pulled apart, as this is the easiest joint to get to. As it has been said, many 40 series have had this area pulled apart that many times, it sometimes can put stress on the three wires for at least 6 inches after the plug, going deeper down into the wiring loom above the hyd pump.

The result of this is, new Potentiometer gets fitted, works fine for a few weeks then errors 27 and 28 show up again!

If anyone needs these Pots or replacement plug for the tractor side of the joint, then private message me.
