Another BBC hatchet job?

This situation reminds me a bit of that guy who cleaned his river out. The masters of this forum were queuing up to lambast the fella involved when all along he had the correct permissions and it was totally legit. Obviously this is animals involved and doesn’t look good but I don’t like this direction of journalism.
With sales of dairy and meat rising and shares of imposter foods like Beyond dropping like a stone maybe the extremists are being funded to up their game.

Maybe somewhat anecdotal but bribed the kids to go shopping with a visit to Macdonald's at lunchtime on Saturday.
They were busily advertising their mcplant/beyond vegan offering on a fancy electronic billboard.
Sat opposite the counter I took the opportunity to do a bit of market research.
Plenty of big Mac's etc but not one that I noticed of the above.

On the principle that there's no such thing as bad publicity, all this preaching might actually do us a favour and make normal people think a bit more about where their meat comes from. An awful lot of people are getting heartily sick of this endless wokeism.

Would appear that the BBC's "expert" wasn't exactly neutral either 🙈

Dr Kniight will know that many cows suffer very little trauma when their calves are removed. He doesn't implies that there's no problem weaning calves when they are a few months old. I can tell him they make a much greater fuss. We left them on the cow for the first 3 - 4 days (something he doesn't mention) until the milk is okay to go in the tank . In Practical Farm Ideas we have featured farmers who keep them on the cow and they all say the cows bawl for a day or two.

On the eve of Storm Eunice the dairy fridges in our local Morrisons and Aldi were bare with only a bottle of red top left in Morrisons. No bread and very little fresh meat either.
Just goes to show, when folk are hungry they won't worry about a programme on tv which once paid a prat called Martin Bashir to tell devastating lies to a vulnerable Princess Diana.

So to sum it up, he went vegan in an attempt to impress a girl, who is still a friend.
Then squared it off in his mind with saying, actually he wasn’t trying to get his leg over, it was all about animal advocacy, someone nodded in agreement and he’s subsequently made a career out of his lifestyle of least environmental impact………….. involving plenty international travel. 🙄

This is where i would like to see the AHDB earn their corn, all that money would be better spent on quality advertising ( mcDs , morrison etc all show farming in a good frame) investigative journalism, lets see rainforest destruction to produce soya milk , fight fire with fire
