I don’t seem to have access to a lot of the brands listed in your trial other than the skellerups. This is the only boot I could recommend. I’m very hard on footwear and I can get 1-2 years out of these. No shank, hardly any “support”, very minimal and light, good grip on concrete. Just the way I like them.

I’ll look into that wellie. Don’t think I would get a year out of them but I am the perfect person to test them.

My Le Chameaus did the same. My Bogs did the same. My Bekina did the same.

I have Dunlop puroforts and they offer zero ankle support, fudging hopeless compared to the Bekinas I had.
The Bogs I had imported from America were very comfortable and warm (I used to live in wellies in previous life) but they weren't a safety version.
How do you take them off? Do you use your feet to push the heel of the other boot to take it off ? That’s What normally kills boots

Let me know what you think of them.

The Skellerups were fairly my favourite but the Noratherms were definitely a good PU boot
Arrived today. Been wearing them around the house tonight. Weird I know but only time I will wear wellies in house and not get shouted at. Its a novelty.

They seem really light for steel toe caps. As you said they do seem to roll on heels and natural to walk in.

The sole looks quite rugged, should grip well when we get compacted snow and ice. Will be better than having wet feet like in my old pair. Be glad to chuck them in bin.

Always knew it Chae: a posh bloke who saves his best wellies for wearing around the house.

I've had 2 pairs of aigles, the first pair lasted years and were very warm, the second pair lasted 2 years before splitting and they weren't as warm as the first pair. I have been wearing a pair of the warm welly heavy duty boots for a couple of months, good so far, warmer than the angles, comfortable for walking, not overly heavy and a handy 'spur' at the back for pulling them off with the other foot or against something.

I did the same for two days in 5 different pairs so don't worry :ROFLMAO:

The Bekinas were super light, even in comparison to the Noratherms but I just thought they were a little too light/flexible. Perfect though if you were dairying every day or if you wanted a PU pair for summer and neoprene pair for winter

The noratherm sole isn't very self cleaning. In fact you end up with a ball of mud on bottom of your foot. Never had that problem with any wellies before. We don't have heavy sticky clay land.

Will help me shed some Christmas kgs.

Another vote for Skellerup Quatro's.
Just started wearing my second pair, having got 2 years out of my previous ones.
Used to buy Bekina, but got fed-up of buying a new pair after 6 months. !!!!
They would split across the sole every time.

The Dunlop puroforts are consigned to use in yard conditions. Flipping useless for walking over wet ground. I got stogged, today, and only just managed not to lose both boots. Would have been in trouble going over a hedge with a ditch. They just don't fit properly for real work.

I found they offer zero ankle support and was forever threatening to turn my ankle. Fudging lethal.
