It looks about the same magnification I'd use, from the photos. I use the FecPak slides, which are a different size and you multiply by 30, but the principle is the same.

I've never used, or seen, a Mcmaster slide. Is the more solid line on the right of your original photos, a grid line?:scratchhead:

Yes, nemo eggs count towards the overall count. If you are only seeing nemo eggs, it means you can go in with an el cheapo white drench. Good news.(y)

Are you definitely letting the slides stand for five minutes before reading? It's easy just to keep going once you get the slide prepared - well I know it's a mistake I've made!

I've 5 slides and I leave them sitting so shouldn't be a issue. I must get a neighbours sample and compare

The clear drench doesn't do the nemo though, does it? Also, while I take your point, I'm really reluctant to buy yet another worker if i don't have resistance (this year should find out with own fecs) as the last lot of white worker I bought (1l) will last me 8 years past it's use by date if I only use it once a year and it was still cheaper than getting the vet to dispense the amount needed.

Clear drench does do Nemo but only what's present on the day of dosing, no residual effect.
