If you Google " Our Yorkshire farm " that thread comes up. Not on the first page, but fairly high up. What the Owens, and the general public must think, gawd knows. When folks start calling each other pansies, the thread has surely run it's course.
There seem to be a few on here that like to turn elf n safety into some bizarre point scoring exercise.

Why should a few people that don't like other posters views be able to get a thread locked @chaffcutter ?? if you take that stanch then most threads on TFF will end up being locked before long!!

No reason for the thread about the Owen's to be locked, only reason it has been is because JP1 is abusing his power as a moderator, he doesn't agree with some posts so has locked it, yet in livestock he is allowing a thread about a posh horse show to be left there and not moved into off topic where it should be because in JP1's on words : I have fond memories of attending the show.........

Then on some brexit threads JP1 is removing posts because he doesn't agree with them..

If you let this abuse of a moderators power carry on by JP1 you wont have much of a forum left in a few months time @Clive.

The thread about the Owens's should be unlocked and JP1 should NOT be allowed to carry out any further moderation on it.

Well its in your intrest as the owner I would have thought to not allow threads to be locked because of the personal views of one moderator, if you let him start those games its the start of a slippery slope for the forum,

Moderators MUST be seen to be impartial at all times.

And JP1 is certainly NOT impartial at all..
