Another silage pit thread

Been self feeding silage last few years and has worked well for sucklers. This year as the floor was getting far too rough for feet ( built 1958) we didnt fill it. Looking at abit of demolition and making it larger to fit more silage in. Currently no roof. Was looking at concrete panels but want to future proof so a roof could possibly be added at a later date. Would it be possible to put steel uprights for shed in and put panels against them for now? probably looking at 20 feet to eaves for shed.

Yes it's possible to put them up with steels ready to put a roof on. 20' to the eaves isn't really high enough though I'd say

This is one we did this year, 10' walls, 14' steels plated ready to bolt longer uprights and a roof on

If you don't mind my asking, what did you do for silo this year with one pit out of action?
