Ok I know Gamic or Houghton are the best, can't wait for a Gamic and can't afford a Houghton, what's the best 3 axle wheels outside trailer (must have sheep decks) that's strong and most importantly got the best loading system for sheep?will be used for both cattle and sheep.tia.

We have ifor, fairly simple to use and fit cattle and sheep in well, quality has gone down over the years I think though. Graham Edwards look a decent trailer

Man who brought bull down said he wouldn't travel any distance with a twin axle box.
Tri axle is so much better. He had an ivor on big wheels.

It must depend a bit on your usual usage.
There is no doubt that 3 axles will be more stable which would certainly suit long journeys on good roads. I would argue that the stability comes at a cost of the trailer having a bit more 'control' over the towing vehicle and less maneuverability.

In the end Ifor Williams said we shouldn't have put unpredictable cattle in the cattle trailer and washed their hands of it. Fortunately Ripon Farm Services who we bought the trailer through sorted it for us and we still have the trailer.

friend bought a new one now 9 years old and his did exactly the same. We have an older one ‘06 I think and the build quality is very different. He’s changing it again and it won’t be an IW , there’s nothing in them anymore

Got a GE here. Went for the extra wide one. Tows lovely, and can carry a lot of stock. 6inches extra width makes a massive difference
6ft3" wide definitely makes a difference , we have a 20ft GW , havent seen another trailer with as good set up for the inside gates

Had a look at a Nugent yesterday looks a strong trailer, only thing I could see being a problem was the back gates, seem a bit flimsy and low for cattle, can see when the back door is down cattle could try to jump up on the gates to get out.
