Ant Feedback Would Be A Positve

Hi. how would be the best way to seek permission for some land that's not in use to go metal detecting arouund Merseyside and Cheshire? It would feel wrong and would be wrong to go to peoples propety and ask. especially with things like they are with Covid.

I would love some advice from farmer's who have had good and bad experiences in these matter's. Any reply. positive or negative would be much appreciated. Bobby who found the Wrexham hoard told me to meet farmer's in the local pubs and get talking but pubs are closed. Anyway knowledge is the key so please could you piont me in the right direction. Help a man out!!

Warm Wishes

Anthony

The way i look at it is imagining somebody coming to my propety, how would i feel?

To be fair you'er right, what do i have to offer?! all i could do is pick up any rubbish and ask if there is anything i could do in return. but this is what i need to know.

Thank you for your reply, it's good to know how you feel about it. And you're spot on

Regards

Depending on the farm and it's situation just offering that might go a long way. So many folk expect something for nothing.
