Any BLW herbicide to use on ww after flowering?

I have a cracking field of ww, (a result in itself) after sunflowers.
It is at the stage of just starting to flower (a worry that we have non stop rain after 2012) and now, the volunteer sunflowers are getting to worrying numbers.
Is there anything that can be applied this late?

Ally, i used once after heading on a field of wheat . At your own risk of course .

Nothing approved that late here and I've no idea what kills sunflowers but I've heard of people illegally patch spraying cleavers in after flowering with fluroxypyr

If 15g of Ally were legal in France, it might knock the wind out of their sails?

A bit off topic but what would e everyone suggest adding with an SU for BLW control in spring barley post GS 31. Normally I just go with a hormone usually mcpa but because of a lack of weeds and drought stress causing the barley to start to run I'm having to go late than I normally would. The only options i can see are fluroxypry based but iv never used a lot of it and from the label I cant see what it would add much to what I want to control.

I used Zypar, 3/4 weeks ago. Maybe too early for the sunflowers but I have a suspicion that it didn’t kill them.

I should add, the sunflowers, last year, went after grass and we didn’t know what might appear (weed wise) so we went for a variety that stood an SU of some type.
I think the wheat will subdue them for long enough to fill grain, harvest is my worry. I hate to feed my cattle glyphosate but I’m thinking it’s going to be the only option. I’m sure as the wheat dies down, the sunflowers will race away...

On winter cereals, I had my first go with zypar this year. I’m very impressed (except for the sunflowers , which I guess you don’t have). I see spring crops are on the label too

You must get on top of the sunflower, unless you want a late crop of mixed.
I would not have thought it would take much to knock them down. I have seen CMPP applied to wheat, very late to knock out cleaver but it will give a few twin heads. i am not sure it did any harm to the yield.

Most hormone type herbicides have a cut off of GS32 due to damage on the young ear. MCPA cut off before booting.

Yea, with this variety of sunflowers, I think that is what we used on the crop itself last year
I’ve got a patch of self inflicted triffids...

It would be frigging late!
Last year, I cut wheat before 10th July. Sunflowers were 20th September

Cripes, you will be chancing your arm with this. I've seen things sprayed late before and it always made me cringe. I would guess the yield impact has been done by now?

I’m thinking so
Glyphosate to enable harvest maybe the only option. But you can see from the picture how lush they are at wheat harvest time
