Any Canadians think Trudeau won't win?

As per title in re Canada's forthcoming 'snap'election.

Chatted with a cousin over there early this morning, he voted for JT last time - despite being a Conservative - but won't this time. He thinks most Canadians are a bit peed off about what they think is an unnecessary election now, but that JT will probably win - but he wouldn't bet a lot on that happening.

He's in Halifax, but other family is in Vancouver and his work takes him all over the country, so he reckons he has a fair idea of what public opinion is. He's fairly 'political' without belonging to a party, so I trust his judgement; but I'll admit to being surprised how JT has remained ahead in the polls over there despite a rather lackluster performance and a bit of scandal.

Thoughts?

I think there is potential for him to lose. A provincial election in the next province over was supposed to be a Liberal shoe-in but they lost big. Social media is starting to ramp up some of the many screw ups by Trudeau which are attracting attention. If the Conservative party capitalize on these, I think they have a fair chance of dumping him. Their problem is their leader is seen as ineffectual so it will be uphill.

He's a proper establishment Blair type puppet. I've always wanted to visit but wouldn't now. I hope he gets booted out by sensible folk.

Same as Aus and NZ. No desire to see that now until the people get their power back from the narc globalists.

Why look so far, Boris is the ultimate Tory donors puppet. :ROFLMAO:
Well, he would be, wouldn't he? (y)

I don't think my sister or her family has any plans to vote for him, although she does say she fancies him. 😁
Oddly enough, I have another cousin over there who has said the same, again she doesn't like his politics and her husband has an uncanny resemblance to him. In Japan Koizumi was regarded as very good looking, and a lot of female voters appear to have been swayed by this.. perhaps this is Boris's electoral success explained at last?

But not forgetting Trudeau is only PM in a minority government currently, and, when I was last in BC two years ago no one spoke about him in any positive manner, if anything just a back stabbing, lying "trough feeder".
Probably done more to stuff up Canada than any other PM in recent history.

Just like Cindy then!!
I suspect that both Ardern and Trudeau source information from the same place ,either that or plagiarism at the highest level.
That said Arderns early strategy with Covid 19 was exactly the same as the city of Edmonton, with only the place names changed...
Ardern when she became PM stated "Clear and transparent government " while Trudeau quoted "Open and transparent government".....
The question for both of them is just how long will it take for both of them to realise at some point in time the voting public will have enough of their bull s**t?

Yesterday O'Toole waded into the abortion minefield with his opinion. Cost his predecessor an election. We'll see if he fares any better. Last night he made his stance on the Taliban quite clear, No recognition whatsoever of them and their regime. Actually he claims he will be looking to help Allies prosecute (or persecute, take your pick) them. So that may balance things off. Could even help him gain a little traction with the ladies. Lots more today about Trudeau's broken promises, seems like an "anybody but Trudeau" might be stating to gain a little traction. On their Facebook pages there are virtually no Liberals defending the criticisms being aimed at his policies on there:unsure:.

Today, O'Toole clarified his abortion statement a bit and it seems that he may have succeeded in dodging his predecessor's fate. Very little backlash. He also seems to be quick on capitalizing on his opponent's blunder's as well.🤞 Trudeau made a comment about not thinking about monetary policy a day or 2 ago and O'Toole had the attack ads out today.

Eh, did Trudeau or Freeloader ever think aboot monetary policy???🤔🙄

I live in Andrew Scheer’s (the previous Conservative leader) constituency and was not surprised that he lost the last election - a decent enough MP but not a leader.
I confess I did not know who Scheer’s replacement was - and that will be O’Toole’s problem nationally - but Scheer will get my vote.
Here in Saskatchewan the Conservatives MPs will once again be elected as no-one I know has a good word for Trudeau, although I grant I do not move in urban circles.
The one thing in Trudeau’s favour is that he has not given in to Chinese pressure over holding the Huawei woman for US - yet. The Chinese are upping the pressure, our farm commodities are meeting more paperwork b/s in accessing the Chinese market.

Mate, one of the funny things aboot Canada is how similar it's to NZ, and especially the parallels in politics ,eh.
The only exception is Canadian end their sentences with "Eh" and we start ours with "Mate" 😆😆😆
