I'm currently making a 3 point linkage for the rear of my unimog, it's had nothing on before. Thoughts were just simple rocker switch for up and down on the 2 lift rams. Obviously pressure to lift, and just into dump/float to lower. Perhaps some describe of valve to slow rate of drop. And maybe just a simple position sensor for a rough idea of height setting.

However, I got all excited when I saw this electronic hitch control. ⬇️

Is it still possible to get hold of it. Could it be used with other components and be used on a simple 2 ram setup like I'm creating. It would be a smart job to spec it up.

That looks very similar to what is in my fastrac. If you wanted draft to work too you would need a draft sensor that takes its reading from the rod that the lower links attach to if i remember correctly. Having said that I am no expert!

You can get the sensor within the pins can't you. McCormick at work has them in I'm sure because one side always throws an error code up. Stopped replacing them now.

I'm not to fussed on draft control to be honest but position control and drop rate would be nice.

Gerbert had pointed me in a good direction to Zuidberg. There version would be more suited. I'm waited by for a reply off Lynx Engineering as to whether I can make it work or not.
