Any examples of a conversion of grain bins to a house?

My wife has been watching grand designs. Sigh.

Got an old grain store a bit too close to the road and overbearing. It's a central block of ten bins,5*2, with each ten foot square made of crittal. They are quite tall. On each side is essentially a lean-to with a 30*50 challow floor.

Original plan was to strip out the bins, but it appears that they support the central roof.

Now I look at these grand designs, and seeing what an eyesore my shed is, I wondered if by taking the lean-tos off, I'd end up with a structure that was a 50*20 footprint of fairly strong walls and good height.

Anyone seen one turned into a house?

Haven't seen it done but I think it would be amazing.

I took the two down that were adjacent to those, nice conversions,

If you remove the internals of the bins , you’ll need a structure back in, to replace the integrity of them, especially with a roof sitting on top,
Be happy to quote to remove,

:) This started as a "if I get shut of those bins then I'll have a nice spacious shed". On second look, the bins keep the shed roof up!

So if I can't have a 9000ft flat floored shed, may as well see if I can turn them into something useful.
