Looking For Work Any Farming / Agricultural Work in the Midlands.

Hi,

I am looking for any type of farm/agricultural work going locally (I live in Twycross on the Warwickshire/Leicestershire border), either part time, full time or seasonal.

Both myself and my better half currently work in the Aviation world, however she has recently been told she's going to be made redundant and I received a call on Tuesday to say that I am also facing redundancy (and there's a high probability i'll be going as it's based on length of service).

I realise Farming is totally unrelated to Aviation (unless aerial spraying), however I have always had a keen interest but never had the opportunity to gain employment (apart from once helping a friend out milking his dairy herd) so i'm thinking/hoping now might be the time to try and get in to the industry, especially with harvest time approaching.

I have only ever driven an old Massey Ferguson tractor, however I do have experience driving large (up to 50t) aircraft pushback tugs (and with aircraft attached of course) and I also have a HGV Class 2 licence (+ADR inc. Tanks, CPC, Digicard).

Not afraid of hard work or long hours and i'm also used to working outside in all weathers and temperatures.

Any work or contacts would be appreciated.

Thank you.
