I see the smoke several times during harvest.
I would have thought a good automatic fire suppressant system would be mandatory on any modern combine. If not, why not?
Perhaps on modern tractors too.

Note to all, choose your weapon carefully, my mate turned 1 fire into a dozen when he tried to put out the combine fire with a CO2 extinguisher last year and burning straw got propelled in every direction! They did save it, just.

This post should be used on all fire training. I unfortunately had to use a C02 one last lead on a real fire…. And as described it don’t put it out, it move it boi! .
How many on here have actually used an extinguisher in anger and seen the results! It would be work a few a year to use as test ones! Makes you really think once you do it
