I think these days you have to have a 5 year warranty with any tractor. The parts are just to expensive . I don't think there all bad. There's a contractor down south sell 9 7700 series at a farm sale all with 6000 plus hours on

just had one on 10 week hire while we waited for our new one 7718 to be delivered that replaced one that was stolen...the 7720 didn't go much better than the 3 18s that we run, same old story with the longer wheelbase and not much more power...depends what your doing with it, it handled our combi-disc better because of longer wheel base but couldn't pull it any faster, and compared to the 18 it was a big numb lump around the yard

That's what it's for it's the only big frame tractor with 6.6l engine so. Our 7620 is good for us because it lifts the sumo and drill and handles the muckspreader well without huge hp. If you want more power buy a 7726

And have been a heap of trouble if you read the catalogue of gearboxes and brake rebuilds and the foreword saying changing for a different make.

We have just bought 7720 to replace 7620. I think it's a good tractor that we are familiar with so having another one the same. Personally think they are comfortable enough and and just as reliable as others and in my opinion cheaper to run per hour than other shades of green. And historically mfs second facelift of basically the same tractor is usually better. And their warranty is good in my opinion and dealer does everything to help

I have had 2 first one had a lot of software problems , engine cooling fan fell of ,main thing very poor on power and torque it took nearly 2 years to find a poor wiring harness to the transmission that sorted it . MF swapped it for a new one which is only slightly better , will be changing brands next time , good dealer back up but poor MF back up.

from a fellor farmers experience FENDT are a much better organized business for customer support even through the same dealer as the massey ones...
yes we know things shouldnt be that way but ive heard of a few that say thats deffo the case.
Shame eh.
My Personal dealings with MF & under extended warranty claims have been on a whole very good.

How many years ago was that as the new men at MF are not the same as they were

No, not managed yet, see what farm sales come up this spring.
Was looking at this https://www.tractorsandplant.com/product/valtra-s294-tractor-2/ but looked at some posts here and the cvt is not highly thought of. Went to look at a 939 they had a few weeks ago but I bid them well thinking they are not that sought after but the £ is helping Jonny foreigner too much.
There is cheaper 900 fendt down your way from the contractor that has gone under , have you not been to see it
