Not really, Ive an old 626 Manitou, and besides the siamese boom pipes, and the hub brake pipes its had little else changed. But pipes on say shear grabs, trailers , bale handlers etc etc often fail! That's very interesting, I thought it would be an important part of your business, that would be used regularly.

Have you (or your accountant) been through the books of said business? My intention is not to have it for self repair but to run it as a business. I think I may have been misunderstood in my posts. Although I do agree there is the chance I'll end up with a random assortment of fittings that I will never use.
Can you still buy them? I thought they had banned them nowadays?!I work with reusable fittings on 3/8 and 1/2 hoses. No difference in longevity to crimp fittings, hose will go before the fitting.
Selection packs available on eBay last year. Can you still buy them? I thought they had banned them nowadays?!
Depends....The fact that most people are saying they would just run to the local hose supplier would indicate to me that there is definitely potential.
I suppose it depends on the captive customer base, up here there are a lot of harvesters, forwarders, chippers and diggers serving crushers, all which lose considerable money during downtime so are willing to pay the premium to get back up and running.Depends....
How desperate is said customer to pay (presumably) a premium for on site service. I've never found one yet to be anywhere near as competitive as my local who'll make it up while I wait at the trade counter.
Now if I'm truly desperate / can't fix/repair in situ thats a different ball game.
