Any other places to look for land for sale besides the main online markets like onthemarket?

There are other online ones but agents seem to post to all of them - onthemarket, uklandandfarms, primelocation.

I imagine word of mouth can be a good source but since I don't live in the area I want to buy not really accessible.

Facebook maybe another, but again I don't use that.

Seen the odd posting on one of the subforums here but does not seem to get much traffic.

Onthemarket might not be the best way but seems most accessible and just have to bide my time I guess unless anyone has any better suggestions.

It is a bit frustrating having to wait months and months for something suitable to maybe become available. Then could be another couple of months for the sale date and perhaps even another couple months more again for everything to go through that is IF you got it whereas it can be very likely to lose it for various reasons along the way.

I only want an acre or two not like a big commercial farm operation but still a lot of hoops to jump through.
