Any others having jcb paint issues on new machine

Only had to watch the inside the jcb factory not long ago ,you could have done a better job with a few spray cans

Maybe they could knock a few quid off and get the customer to paint there own machine, eg order the home painting option

Welcome to the club, the paint on a JCB is very poor & JCB will not do any thing to put it right, Dealer will maybe do something for you but JCB will not there customer service is very poor now adays

Ah but you'll never go wrong buying a JCB, worth more second hand see, even if heavily oxidised.

We had a Kubuta tractor the same. I sent it back. Twice. The dealer was arsy because K wouldn't pay the second time. Tough.

The funny bit about that is it's still true!!
I like my Loadalls but I agree the black paint especially is very poor, but folk still want them when used.
My last one depreciated at £2.94/hr on the clock over 5000 hrs with me, buying bill to selling bill. Nothing else can touch that.

JCB don't deserve your money. They are obviously making too many machines to give a flying fudge. Appalling for a British company. Wouldn't buy one on principle.

Those numbers were very do-able with machines bought up to about 18 months ago. We did it ourselves with a couple of consecutive TM320S’s. The thing I’m really struggling with is the £100k asking price for a new well specced Loadall. I just can’t see these getting anywhere near the numbers of the older ones. Who’s going to pay £85,000 for a 4 year old loadall with 5000 hours? Nobody! It’ll be worth probably 50k tops, Making £10/hr depreciation.
yellow paint is the problem

Had a some yellow paint peel off a 2 year old digger, and to be fair they changed the panel and light bracket under warranty.
They really need to sort it out though, you could see where the rust was bubbling underneath the paint.
