kirkby was friday!Kirkby and hawes on on the same day?!
What were they making towards the end?Lambs were down about £20 for the smaller ones and about £6 or £7 for the bigger ones. Although they were very cheap near the end. Finished selling about 6pm.
Least they weren’t any lessI was there till lunch time. Similar prices I would say, Mondays average was a £79.99 I was told. Down £20 on last year.
never went, had a bellyful of that on friday!Anyone go today?
could only put it down to the fact you maybe dont rely on the south-country buyers the same as we do.Second lamb sale at Stirling was back £10.
Think us Scots got best of the mule ewe lamb sales this year though for the end of August/start of September sales. Generally lambs were similar on year.
Will the trade hold strong for the big sales later on?Least they weren’t any less
