Second lamb sale at Stirling was back £10.

Think us Scots got best of the mule ewe lamb sales this year though for the end of August/start of September sales. Generally lambs were similar on year.
. I would think lambs at least twenty pound down at Stirling yesterday. I know market report might tell you a different story but that’s what it looked and felt like, it also won’t tell you about the pens that were run out of the ring unsold , wasn’t a good day to be selling.

Aye heard it wasn’t good. And last year wasn’t good either. Big number of lambs for a second sale. A lot would have been better sold at first sale. One thing for sure is, plain wee ones are not in demand at all.

Think alot tried to sell at first sale and never got them away but just about everyone took a hammering yesterday , feel for the men who only ever sell at that sale every year but had to compete with the ones left over from the first sale.

Didn’t help with the pounding rain on the day by the photos I saw as it showed up how scrawny some were.

Like it or not these mules need some body putting into them.
like it or not they need some colour puting into their faces,my darker coloured ones were making £15-20 more than my light coloured ones.
