Any redrock telehandlers about still?

Hens teeth to find one let alone a good one, i got 3 x TH280s local still looking after or trying too.
Came across a 300 today. Just u der 10k hours. Thought she maybe but to well run at that

TH300 was built using a few JCB bits, axles, transmission and engine all bought from JCB. under powered as didn't go for the 120hp, the hyd pump had to be reduced back in flow a bit i think compared to what they wanted them to run at.
Parts in general are now a problem sadly so unless you have past experience of them i wouldn't advise buying a Redrock IMO

You wont get nothing out of Redrock Engineering now.
Redrock do not supply any parts or information for the handlers any more, they sold them on and washed there hands of them. Manitou bought it then sold on what they didn't want and fudged up what they kept.
. We’re a good enough shovel but hard to get anything for that money.

Know a man well that was involved with the building of them. Knows them very well.

Newrock still have a few of them from time to time too.
It’s getting one with reasonable hours. Don’t think they have any coming in for a while
Did a season on the clamp with a TH300
I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy
I’d rather a Matbro TR250 all season than a TH300. Drove a TH500,that was equally as bad.
Redrock should of stuck to diet feeders and tankers IMO
Was that with Parkes?
Any bother with her heating up
Always ran hot from new due to appalling air flow to radiator

They went through lot of different types of fans, the later fan from Wingfan GB was miles better.

I have to say that our TH280S was really good for it's day and we liked the machine a lot. @ACEngineering supplied it, looked after it for us and bought it back from us when we replaced it for a JCB. We had 10 years of very good service from both it and @ACEngineering.

They had a lot of niggles, mostly all fixable with a proper PDI.

That because they are very rare! not many where made and there mostly all knackered and worn out, lot got exported to Poland and Denmark in the years following Redrock going bust and ending production back in Oct 2009. There are a small hand full of people willing to pay very good money for decent ones or even ones that need attention but the vast majority will run away from them cause unless you know what your doing they will be very difficult to keep going now as front line machine.
