Has anyone any tips for drilling grass with a combi drill? It's a Sulky Xeos Pro (disc) on 20cm spacing. It's a 12-24m stewardship margin.

Not too deep especially if clover is in the mix , not too shallow but deep enough to find moisture at this time of year. Big seeds can go deeper than little seeds.

Roll, roll, roll. But not necessarily for seed to soil contact, just as much to get a realistic idea of how level the field is prior to seeding. Combis are great for hiding the dips, roll close to right angles to emphasise the dips so the Combi can level on the final pass.

You knew this anyway I guess.
