Anybody buying crimped barley?

What moisture is it? I think you’re getting mixed up between wet and dry

No, and do not forget you have the extra cost of the treatment for crimp v dry grain as well!

If you charge £162 for crimp you can knock off £20 ton in extra costs v dry grain at least so you are selling it for £142 ton in real terms!

Crimp grain is a far better feed than dry grain.

you work out cost of dry barley ex farm per tdm and work back with the analysis of the crimp. Allow £6 for the mill. The cost of additive and clamping is less than the cost of drying and a shed.
To be honest, £130/140 is about the mark.
you wont be buying much at that!
